I would like to see one of these 33 Hot rods in person before I spend 20,000 + on a kit. Is there anyone near Chattanooga,Tn that has one completed or mostly completed that I could visit and maybe sit it.

If you are any where near New Orleans then consider taking a ride.
A friend of mine is building one right now so you can see if you fit.
The new Gen 2- 33 will fit almost anyone. The Gen 1 was tight for large guys.
Take a short trip to Port Charlotte, FL and sit in the Gen II I am just finishing up. It has a bench seat, full fenders, running boards, hood, side panels and roof.

Thank you godadgo & 65 cobra dude. I'll be in the Florida area in a week or so. That might be the easiest for me.
Thanks Gary
Yes, He is building a 33 Hot Rod.
We'll be stuffing the drive-line in a couple of weeks.
400 Blueprint SBC with a automatic overdrive behind it.
He'll have just over 500 ponies at the flywheel so I'll likely be looking at his tail lights.

Gary and his wife stopped in today to check out Scott's 33. Very nice people that have a decision in front of them. They are stopping at Tom Wallace's house on their way back to TN to see his 35 pickup. Nice to meet you guys and we, on this forum, can answer any questions you may have. Thanks for letting them stop by Tom!

I did everything except spray it. She ain't perfect, but she's mine.
Thanks to Henry for allowing us to stop by and see his 33. He's doing a great job building it up. WOW! What a motor. It completely fills the engine bay. It was a tight fit but I did get in. My head was against the roof. My 13EEE clod hoppers completely fill the toe box. I couldn't tell where the gas, break, clutch were. For now, I'm not going to order a kit for now. I'll have to rethink it after I loose 50 Lbs. Wish me luck on the weight loss.I had a 1936 Plymouth when I was in my teens. It had a lot more room that the 33 kit.
Thanks

I'm a big guy and 6ft 3 and its not bad in the 33.
Gary, there are ways to give you a bit more room on the 33. Depends on how bad you need the room and how committed you are in getting it. I modified my lower firewall, lowered the pedals and added 4" (or was it 5" -- been so long) and lowered my floor a few inches which gave me quite a bit more room. And as you've probably figured out, running an auto frees up some pedal space. I pushed my brake over to the far left and gas to the far right. I also fabricated a new doghouse that's narrower. The foot box is still tight compared to a factory built car but with the proper shoes mine is now manageable.
I know you're building a kit but sometimes you have to make mods to accommodate your needs. Of course the farther off the Rez you go, the more time and $$ it takes but just be aware there are ways to mitigate small design issues.
