    Door weatherstripping

    Cant seem to wrap the door weatherstripping around the flange on the roof. The fiberglass flange measures .220 thick and the "teeth" on the strip are so close it looks like its only good to grip something half the width.

    I had to thin mine out to allow it to grip properly, it actually tapers from about an eighth to 3/16" roughly. Even then I needed to apply it with a mallet to get it on properly.
