Looking for Passenger Door & Trunk lid!

    Plans changed:
New plan is to install my old body back on the car for now till the new one get's painted.
I really would like to if possible find hood, passenger door and trunk lid so I will be able to reinstall the old body back on my chassis once all the other work is done. While I can I would like to drive the car again for a while. I can use any Mark I,II,III body part.

Edited the old post to update what I need.

Now need just a Passenger door and trunk lid!

Ralph, shipping is going to kill it from CA. but I have a MK3 trunk lid (black), one MK2 trunk lid (gray) and a drivers side outer door skin (no the interior portion)

The door skin and the Mark II trunk lid would be good. I have used Greyhound to ship large boxes and the rates are not too bad. From Southern Cal to Central, NY looks to be about $110.00 for 1 package. We just wrap the parts with some bubble wrap then that roll of wrap they use to shipping. I have shipped exhaust pipes and also jeep running boards that way. Things that can't really be broken.
A little extra work for you. If you're interested.

    Ralph,
Get ahold of Jeff Miller. He and I were just talking earlier this week and he's in the midst of a major house cleaning. He mentioned that he has a surplus of old version doors, hoods and deck lids that he has finally decided he has no need to keep any longer. Between what he has and what Frank has they should have you covered and maybe can double pack some items to ship from So-Cal.

Or Kleiner can grab all this when he comes out to SoCal for HB 2020.

I do love surplus house cleaning "trash"! As it has been said one mans trash is another man's "art on his garage wall"!
And THANKS for the suggestions! I sent an IM to Jeff so we'll see what he has - as I mentioned OLDER the better and fit is not an issue - warped hoods, etc are perfect for what I'm looking for.

    Great idea Frank

Didya' see that Ralph says "warped hoods, etc are perfect for what I'm looking for"---wonder if that includes hoods with the scoop hole cut on the wrong end ("You know who" is gonna' kill me for that one)

am back looking for the parts. My new body is going to be a while before it's completed. Have to wait for school to open again. So am back looking for a hood, trunk lid, and doors for my old body so I can put it back on the chassis I have been working on. I really want to leave the body at the school for the kids to have something to look forward to when they return. School has been difficult for them as is. SO I can use any Mark body parts except for the Mark IV's. My chassis has the new style door hinges.
