Shifter to use?
Been about 5 years since I've worked on my Mk4. So my memory is gone!!
I went with a Richmond 6 spd and was explaining to my son about how the shifter is bent to come forward. He posed a great question: Being I need to press "down" then to the right and back to get reverse, how am I going to do that? (press down?!).
HOW AM I GOING TO DO THAT????!!!!! Crap.... why did I deviate. I originally wanted a
T-56. Any suggestions. Like maybe is there a 6 speed shifter that will fit with a reverse that doesn't have to be pressed down. thanks art [email protected]

Not many folks have deviated from the Factory Five Drive Line Protocols more than me.
Have you simply tried to "Two Hand" the sucker when shifting into reverse?
