    Mod engine PS/PB Pump delete

    Hi guys
    Does anyone know of a pump delete pulley for a SOHC they seem to have gone out of production. There must be a solution I don’t see out there. I can’t seem to find a working belt setup so a delete would work perfectly just run the belt around it
    After a dozen years of hydroboost I am eliminating it going manual. It worked great until it didn’t then I had one too many ATF showers
    But I still have AC so the delete plate would save the grief
    Of rearranging the belt setup
    Been pulling my hair out looking for a solution. The car is back together and waiting for a belt solution to get out on the road again

    Hope I am not breaking the rules. Go to this site and someone should be able to offer a solution.

    Not having your engine to look at I can't help specifically. But I've done similar over the years using idler pulleys. Here are a few;

    Sometimes it is as simple as a bare pulley and a piece of 1/4-3/8 aluminum in a triangle shape. Two holes to bolt it on and the last hole for the pulley.

    If I remember correctly, just remove it and get a shorter belt. R
