    heater control valve mounting

I'm thinking of putting the heater control valve inside the AC unit behind the fan. I could use a molded 90 degree bypass hose and just drill a clearance in the bottom to let the rest of the hose
    go to the bulkhead fitting.

Any reason why this is dumb?

I used to think I needed a Rolex watch, now I’d be happier with a Swedish K!

I mount mine inside all the time. No need for a 90. See post #72 of my 33 build. I cut the fan shroud. You can't see any of this once the dash is in place.

Me also. I just didn't like the clutter in the open engine bay. Had to get creative with the hoses where i put mine.
