Dash fitup

This is probably due to my inexperience, but it appears I neeed to modify the corners of the dash to fit around the roll cage.

If so, any tips to help along the way. I was planning on many mini cuts until it fit.

Any pictures would be very helpful. This is one area where manual does not show anything.

Haven't done mine yet....but I know a bit about fabrication.

Make you a cardboard template of the dash....and cut it up first.

I too have not yet installed the dash. But I see in appendix A of the build manual there is a template to assist in the cut-out for the steering column, but nothing for the roll bar cut-outs. Pretty typical of the manual, they mostly appear to be written for the gen 1's and I think the full cage was begun with the gen 2.

Templates make sense: I made a mess of mine with a couple of careless cuts. The template for the steering worked for me, once I figured out where to apply it

Something that we purchased was a Dremel 4300. It makes the fiberglass cuts and massaging the hole sizes much easier than air grinder. Easier to handle

dreamed, edge grinder, step drill bit have all been used extensively in my build. The step drill is really important (as I have learned) to keep a hole from "walking " when enlarging a pilot hole

Looks good, I used a rubber bubble gasket 3/8 “. To finish off the front edge where it meets up by the windshield. Think I got it from McMaster and Carr . Rob
