Where to rivet the DS footbox front panel

The manual says to "mark, drill, and rivet in place" the front panel for the drivers side footbox. The picture shows where they placed 7 rivets on the panel (image below circled in red). I have read in various build threads that their rivets on this panel caused interference with the mounting brackets for the pedals. Are the circled locations what I should shoot for?

    Thanks,
    Jason

No worries mate. I should add that I also put a wavy line of silicone across the face of the steel backing plate, just to prevent any rattling.
