    truck horn help

did anyone get the horn button wire with their kit? the manual only shows the location of the horns. the chassis wiring manual shows a separate button on the dash. I'm not sure I need one. any ideas?

The horn button is in the center of the steering wheel.

No. Look in the manual on the steering wheel install. The horn button completes the circuit to ground to close the horn relay. No worries.

what goes from the brass post on the steering wheel (horn button) to the column? I believe there should be a short wire with female spade lug, a slider , and a spring

Furrman, I contacted IDIdit and they sent me one, at no cost. They said it should have been included with the steering column.
