Gen 2 Rear Shock Coil clearance

I've got the Moser 3Link installed and it all seems OK except for clearance on the drivers side coil spring and lower shock area.

Even when it is down on the ground, the shock body contacts the bracket. I don't see much alternative to cutting away the bracket to get some clearance or maybe creative metal forming with a 5lb sledge.
I've got the shock mounted as far to the rear as it can go. The passenger side is close, but clears OK.
Any other Gen 2 folks seeing this?

I think it is mostly an issue with the Moser rear end. It is the way they build the lower shock mounts. My car is a gen 1 and I had to cut out clearance using the 3 link also. Pinion angle will also affect it - be sure your angle is set before you proceed.
