Easy Question - What are these brackets?

I'm sending off the first batch of parts for powder coat and cannot for the life of me remember what these are as they were sitting unlabeled on my workbench from the beginning.

    The memory must be going...

They are used for hood pins. Not needed if using hinge.

They still send those with every kit---I figure they must have ordered about 10,000 of them 20 years ago and are just trying to get rid of the damn things! When was the last time anybody built a roadster with hood pins?

Yep, bend them up and use them for brackets. A brace for you dash?

I used one of them to make a dead pedal. I saw it on the forum recently, can't remember who posted it.

Nice. Did you reinforce the pedal mount point somehow, or is it just riveted to the aluminum panel?

I haven't reinforced it yet, thinking about doubling up with an alum backer. It is attached with 2 10/32 rivnuts and is pretty stable. I can stiffen it later if needed.
