    Convertible Top Option

For years I have wanted to build an AC Cobra replica, but there has been one thing that has always stopped me....a convertible top.

Without a convertible top that car is essentially a 4 wheel motorcycle. Fair weather at best. If it rains, all that applies to a motorcycle applies to this. With a convertible top, minus a few drips, you can at least press on.

Do you, or any aftermarket company offer something like this? ....or have any other solution to this problem? Not too keen on a hardtop or 'snug top' in that I think the car no longer even looks like a Cobra with that big a mod. Also, when out on the road you cant remove it

    A simple list of questions:

    1) Do you have the FFR conv top unit on display at you place in Wareham (I live up in Burlington MA and travel to Bourne quite frequently)
    2) Does the FFR conv unit come with side curtains?
    3) Do you have more pics of how it attaches to the rear dech and the big-*** clamp mechanism that is usually req to hold it down to the windsheild?
    4)....A video clip?
    5) The cheaper Whitby unit looks positively ugly in that the rear edge right above the window sits abnormally high, I assume to clear the roll bar. Your unit loos far less ugly....unless its just camera angle

One last question, just for clarity....this unit ONLY fits the MK4 and NOT the 289 'classic' version?
I'm actually more interested in the more classic lines of the 289 vs the MK4 which is, in terms of style, for me a bit over the top
.....but if its the only way to get a conv top I may have to change my mind

My friend in Norton has the top on his car if you want to see it. I don't believe FFR has one in there showroom. There is no fasteners on the rear part of the top. It is designed so that it doesnt need them
