    KRC power steering plug

There is a black plug in the outlet connection of the KRC power steering pump, am I supposed to remove it?

I had a KRC pump on my car (sold the car). Are you sure it's a plug and not an orifice?

On my pump you could install fittings with different sized orifices to adjust the amount of power assist.

I’m not sure what it is. It's rubber and protrudes about an 1/8" below the male connection. I have a leak at that point and I'm thinking that may be the culprit. I am afraid to tighten the connection much more.

It was a small black plug on the outlet line, I removed it and all is well.
