Why they call it Colorful Colorado

I came across this short video today and thought I'd share some of the splendor of Colorado.

Colorado is beautiful! I loved going up there every time from New Mexico.

I headed over to Pagosa Springs as much as I could.

And the Durango to Silverton train ride was incredible!

Ha! It's the perception you get in the winter entering the state from pretty much any approach. My wife and I laugh every time we see those signs. It's not until you drive into the mountains that "Colorful Colorado" means something.

Gorgeous. Take the time to appreciate what you have. I'm just looking forward to getting out of a country where breathing the local air is worse than smoking. Soon.....

I’ve driven most of the lower 48 and Colorado is among the top 3. Pikes Peak, the road through Cripple Creek and US-50 west from Royal Gorge ... and don’t forget The Shelby American Collection near Boulder.
