    MaxJax 2-post Lift Spacing Recommendation

    Hello,

Question for those who have the MaxJax lift:

What is your recommendation for spacing of the posts for the MK-4?

Primarily will be used for the MK4 but other vehicles I have for lifting are a Kia Optima and Toyota Tacoma.

    Thanks,

    Leland

I just installed 105 to the outside of plates for my roadster and it seemed ok. I did have an issue with hight clearence to sidepipes. I would up with the 3 inch extensions on the arms and rolling the car onto 2 2x4s

Mine are also set at 105" to the outside of the bottom plates. This is very tight for my '33 Hot Rod with full fenders and running boards. I haven't tried it yet, but I suspect that a full sized vehicle would also be a very tight fit. If your garage layout allows, I suggest going 6-12" wider or more. That will make getting a vehicle in and out much easier. Keith HR#894

    Thank you for the recommendations.

I am planning to try setting up at 120 inches and see how that works!

One good thing about the Max Jax is that you can always get more concrete anchors to make it wider to accommodate wider cars.
