    Cowl Latch concern.

    Hi Everyone.

    So i installed the latch on the front cowl. I followed the instructions as per the FF manual. Something just isn't right. When the latch is closed, it doesn't look finished at all.
    definitely doesn't look like others i have seen on this forum.

    I have attached the pictures. of both sides. Any feedback, will greatly appreciated. All the pics are with the latches in the closed position.

    Looks like you missed the part in the manual about flattening that top mounting bracket. "Use a vise to flatten the mounting ears on each nose latch," and there's a picture. It's page 392 in my manual. Might be different page in yours.

    Well i fixed it. so so much better.
    thanks again Paul. I just have an extra couple of holes to fill during body work lolol

    Hopefully my mistake saves another from doing the same.
