    Seat Bottom

Apparently I sat in the drivers seat with something in my back pocket, poked a couple of holes in the vinyl. Looking for a source of a new seat bottom, any ideas? FFR doesn't handle just the seat bottom..

I'd be curious to know as well. I could use a replacement if they are available?

I believe this is the supplier. You might be able to order just a bottom cover. They are in England, so shipping might be high.

I was having a poke around, there is also https://www.cobraseats-usa.com. That might be worth a call.

Vinyl covers are an easy repair for many upholstery shops. I ripped a piece of vinyl trim in a car and had it repaired pretty cheap. They can usually glue a patch on the back side and then blend and replicate the grain pattern on the front so that it is virtually impossible to see the repair.

Heard back from Cobra-USA, the seat bottoms are available. They come with new foam and the cover, available 4 weeks after order. A little steep if you ask me $ 250 and they recommend 2 so there isn't a color or slight grain difference, can be reached at:

$250 is more than a little steep. 2 complete seats from FFR is $599.

I think I'd give an upholstery shop a try.

What decision needs to be made? Upholstery shop repair $50-75, two seat bottoms $500. Take me about 10 seconds to figure that one out.

But for $500, there won't be any farts in them........yet.

I’ve used those upholstery repair kits with very good results. Try it yourself and if it doesn’t work, call in the pros
