    Looking for wheels

    Hi,
I’m looking for a set of wheels for a Mk3 cobra.

Make that 15 inch ! I’m gonna go with the classic look for my build.

    Thanks
    Tim

Hi Tim, I have a set of almost-brand-new 17" Coys C67 wheels and tires (less than 200 miles on them). See the Coys website for what they look like - https://www.coyswheel.com/coys-c-67 - they look similar to, but not identical, to the Halibrand wheels. These came on a Fox Mustang that I recently bought but I didn't like the look so I changed the wheels to Mustang Pony's. For that matter you can see the car that I purchased (with the new Coys) here - https://www.streetdreamstexas.com/ve...ible-71k-miles. Note I have the spinner type center caps also.

The price of the new wheel and tire package, IIRC, was $1100. I will sell for $600 + shipping or pickup. I expect shipping to be cost prohibitive though as I don't have access to any commercial rates.

Thanks! TBH it looks even better now; I've been on a "re-originalizing" spree incl. pony wheels, OE radio, OE air intake, OE luggage rack/CHMSL, amber (not smoked) lights, etc. etc.

    Thanks for the post !
Those coys wheels won’t work for me, not enough offset/backspacing.
    Again, thanks !

We've bought three (3) sets of 17" wheels from these guys.

Tim, when you contact Clay Turner about his side pipes, ask him about a set of 15's that came with his car when he bought it.

Don't know about the specs, but they resemble American Racing Torque Thrust. He is now running with 18's.

    Thanks Derald.

We did try em but the offset was wrong on the front. They stuck out a couple inches.
