Dave Smith: How bout' some patches ????

    Dave,

Last year I contacted some of your crew and asked about the possibility of you guys selling embroidered patches of the new logo. Say 3- or 5-inch color patches of the logo we could affix to our favorite (color-matching) apparel ?
Since then, I've heard nothing. I would think you could sell those things at a hefty profit and I could find a jacket that color-matches my roadster AND proudly advertise who we are...

    How bout it?

I gotta say it --- "Patches?!? We don't need no stinkin' patches." Sorry.

I'll have Sally look at that casue she has done some cool stuff with the hats and shirts etc. The only patch we have is the FFR Challenge Seires patch... I'd personally love a new logo patch. Thanks man

    Yes... "Patches"...

    THANKS Dave !

Gumball: Yep! Seriously. I can think of any number of garments that stunning new Factory Five logo would good on - if only I could get my hands on some logo patches. I'm on the lookout for a black leather or nylon jacket with blue trim to match my MK-III. It would look "really fine" with a great big FF logo patch on the back!

Yeah, I'd probably buy a few too. I have a couple of shirts with other logos that a nice 2" - 3" patch would cover perfectly, giving me some more wear out of those shirts.

Guys: I have our vendor working on a logo patch that is 2 and 3/8" diam. I measured a variety of patches on our guys race suits and they all are between 2-3" general sizes.

Tell them to make a boatload of them. I'll be ordering a few as soon as they're available.

Here are some that I had made up with Dave's permission. The bottom image is a 6-inch decal.

They look good on hats and jackets. Even have one of the larger ones on the rear cockpit wall of our Roadster.
