Fl dmv
FL DMV seems to have changed the rules recently and are not fully reopened yet; hope to get my tag soon, local office waiting on directives from headquarters to tell me how to proceed. issue seems to be: 1935 replica or kit car with current year (2020) designation and inspection required.
Calling it a 2020 vehicle may be technically correct but it sure won't help anyone trying to identify it, like if a BOLO order was issued for some emergency.
Wouldn't it be nice if common sense could trump bureaucracy; How about calling it a 1935R ?

I certainly hope you’re able to get it registered as a 1935-replica...so much easier and better.
That’s what my local dmv office managed, but they too needed to call head office to accomplish it.
Good luck!!

Mike, this is what I did, took 20 minutes at the tax assessor office. My title says "1935 FFR".
But I know someone else who it didn't work for. Its hit or miss.

Normally I would say YES, but currently they're only taking local residents due to Covid-19.
