Replacing Brake Master Cylinder in Completed Car

Has anyone had any luck with replacing the brake master cylinder after the body has been put on the car? I have the Wilwood Pedal box and want to change my rear M/C from 5/8's to 3/4's after I upgraded to the Wilwood big brake kit. There is certainly not a lot of room in there. If anyone has tried to replace it with or without success it I would appreciate your insight. -Dave

Assuming its a gen 1 kit. You could try removing the upper fire wall or maybe reach it through the cutout on top of the body below the hood? Its nice that FFR made the gen 2 with a removeable dash.

Mike- Yes it's a Gen 1. It looks like I may have to remove the upper fire wall like you said. The Cutouts under the hood are barely big enough to get my paws in there. Thx and wish it was a Gen 2!

Dave, I am in process to replace both masters, they are start leaking
Looks like removal of upper firewall is a good option.
Did you upgraded your masters? Thanks, Roman.
