I need to pick up a socket for the hub nut on the front wheel hub, anyone know the nut size off hand?

    Thanks in advance

    I used 1 3/8, but 35mm is often quoted.

I bought a 36 mm socket at a local auto parts store for about $10. They are also available on line at Amazon, Jegs, etc. for about the same price. Keith HR #894

using a vernier, measure the width between opposing flats of the hexagonal nut, if it measures as 36mm, then you need a 36mm socket.

ugh that sucks. 1 3/8 is very close to 35mm.. but I've seen just as many report needing 36. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The hub nut is from the 89-97 Mustang, a search for that nut size showed up as 36mm

    Thank you RJ...

I have a 35 & 36mm coming (should be here tomorrow) which the 35mm will not be wasted since the hub nut on my 55 F100 using a coil over IFS suspension kit from TCI are 35mm.

Not at all, I appreciate any insight...I never mind picking up additional tools. I do a lot of vehicles and neighbors seems to borrow a lot of tools so I'm fine adding to the inventory of tools.
