Competition windscreen vs windshield
I'm thinking of going with the 289 USRRC. I love the look of the competition windscreen. However, I also don't want to have to wear a helmet all the time to not eat bugs.
Can the standard windshield be easily removed? I could install and leave the competition windscreen in place, and remove, reinstall the regular windshield whenever I want to?

I have been considering the same thing but as a full height framed windscreen and then a half height full width for the track. Not sure how to work the hardware and changeover. I'm a long ways from that point though.

The windshield as designed is not an easy changeover. Access is tough and, in my case, there are body shims to keep the windshield frame from twisting due to bolt clamp force.
Depending on your fabrication skills, you could design a socket that attaches to the car frame and accepts both windscreen types. As they say, anything is possible with enough time and money.
