Can windshield be removed?
My truck is mechanically complete, and I would like to put some miles on her before paint and buttoning up the body work. My question is: can I install the front and rear windows temporary to log some miles, then remove and reinstall for painting? If doable, what should I set them in with?
Thanks in advance

I’m thinking a 2” wide perimeter strip of Gorilla Tape on both sides of the glass and neither window will be going anywhere.
That to me would be the safest and still very reversible…
I doubt you’ll be doing 100 MPH pulls.
Anyone else with ideas/suggestions?

Can't answer for the truck. But I know of several Coupe builds where guys have taped the windshield in place and driven them extensively. Pretty sure also with Gorilla tape and only on the outside. That stuff is crazy strong. I'd be a little careful about the inside. Suspect it's not possible to damage the black frit (border) on the truck glass. But still not sure I'd want Gorilla tape all over it.
