Great choice on the LS engine. Pretty sure you probably know you’ll need to get the theft features removed from the ECU.

Remember to route your rear wiring harness before you permanently install your trunk floor pans.
Also, pre-drill your roll bar(s) prior to fitting the rear cockpit aluminum because it will really make that task a lot easier too.

Make sure that you DON'T install the driver's side outside foot-box panels until after you've done some shakedown Go-Kart runs.
Leaving those off will make life a lot easier in the event that you find yourself needing to adjust things as your build progresses.

are you going to remove that rivet for your headlights before covering your dash or just cover over it and let the dash material get sandwiched down by the outer bezel?

Gonna leave the river. It secures that headlight switch better than the nut. Prevents the switch from rotating.
Thanks for posting this - really helped me plan out the EFI in tank pump/regulator and filter for my LS376. I reviewed a few articles as well and feel this is a simple and cost effective, yet reliable, set-up.
