    Off to Body and Paint

Hey guys. Finally have some good news. Dropped the Coupe off at the Body and Paint on Friday. Been on the list for 4 months, during that time they had moved to a bigger and new shop. Not sure on the time frame but glad to making process. Still waiting on the drive train. That's an entirely different story...

Body and Paint has created a drop box for progress pics. I will post some when the get available.

My 2 yr project has move to more like 3 yrs.

Pics of the Coupe leaving home.

Congratulations, that is exciting. What are you going with for paint or are you going to keep us all in suspense?

Ya not really trying to be suspenseful. Standard look. wanted not to go far off the original look. Blue will be a Lexus color "Cerulean Blue" with the white stripes. looking to do the extra pin strip next to the main one as well. Numbers and stickers are for sure.

Will look very similar to the lighter blue FFR Coupe on their page but with 15 inch wheels.

Went down to the body and paint shop on Monday and looked over the coupe. Got some pics and talked again about the final look. I'm pleased about the progress and will be stopping by again on Friday to bring the nose mesh inserts. That one piece that I did not pre fit. Body guy wants to make sure it fits and wants to tweak the area if its possible. Looks like I might be one of the 1st or the 1st to be painted in their new booth. Here are some pics. I'll take some more on Friday. Doug
