I'm need information about what year rearend to use in a ffr 35 truck
2005-2014 Mustang V-8 rear end and rear brakes. 2011 -2014 V-6 rear end can be used but input flange must be changed. All this info is in 35 manual.
16+ FFR kits and counting!
The Factory Five website also explains an S197 (2005-2014 Mustang) rear axle is required. Has the proper width plus the proper upper connector for the third link. I got mine from Moser. Don't know about OE brakes because I chose the optional Wilwoods. Fit perfectly.

One other note for others on salvage yard rears for the years specified above : V6 cars and V8 cars with automatics usually had 3.31 gears. V8 cars with stick had 3.55 gears.
If you go the salvage yard route, give the wheel flange a spin and count input shaft revolutions. It’s not unusual for a mustang to have been re-geared before it was totaled.
