    Le Mans 1965

The Ford v Ferrari history at Le Mans in 1966 has been retold countless times, but I'd never heard the story about the 1965 Le Mans race where none of the factory Ford or Ferrari cars finished.

MkIV Roadster build: Gen 2 Coyote, IRS, TKO600. Ordered 10/24/18. Delivered 1/29/19. Engine installed 8/8/21. First start 9/12/21. First go-kart 9/17/21. Off to paint 4/11/22. Back from paint 12/30/22. Build thread here.

1965 was a strange race, it was as if they were raced to see who could lose first.

Was also the last time a Ferrari won, and it was not with a factory sponsored team.

This is a very good video to watch.
MK2 #3319.... On the road since 2002 with a lot of upgrades

In the dvd the 24 Hour War this was told. It was how Shelby ended up getting the GT40. The 24 Hour War is a much better watch than the Ford vs Ferrari, IMO.
    16+ FFR kits and counting!
