Heim Joint play
At first I thought I had a bad wheel bearing, but after noticing I only had play up and down and not side to side I narrowed it down to one of the FFR supplied heim joints. Anyone else experience this? Any recommendations on a replacement? Speedway has a few options to choose from and I’m not sure what is an upgrade and what isn’t.
Thanks

Years ago I worked for QA1 when their primary product was rod ends sourced in China. Their claim to fame was rod ends with a plastic medium between the ball and the housing.
https://www.qa1.net/automotive/rod-e...oints/rod-ends
The advantage is two-fold, the plastic acts as a seal against dirt abrasion and as a resilient shock adsorber to reduce pounding-out of the ball/housing tolerance.
I have had good service from their products.
BTW cost is usually an upgrade.
BTW Resilient bushings in a suspension reduce "nervous" behavior at higher speeds and they reduce NVH in the chassis. Not all racing stuff is ideal for the street.

Thanks Jim! Looks like there’s a dealer near me so that works out perfectly.

FK rod ends are the goto units in the off road industry which tortures these things. My FFR unit was also making noise and with the FK it's all quiet.
