    Looking for EV kit

    Hello,
I have been working on my 818C for a year now but only sporadically. I am considering putting in a EV kit instead of the EJ251 my donor came with. I have found some kits like the EV West kit that they say is for the 818 but it only has 71 HP. The EJ251 puts out 170hp. That's a big difference. Has anyone else gone electric? What did you think of your final build? Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Ray

I think there’s a forum post lurking about (this forum or the other one) from the 818’s owner that worked with EV West. From what I recall EV West helped tailor the package to the car with him. Might be worth giving them a call.

EV west has a kit for the 818 for ~9K, but that doesn't include batteries. You will find several builders on here that have gone the EV route.
