    Pulling an LS engine

Getting ready to make an LS swap (bigger of course!) on my 33. Does anyone know if you can separate the transmission from the engine while in the car. That is, is there enough room to pull the bell housing bolts on the passenger side?

With the seats and the fiberglass tranny cover removed I pulled and re-installed my 4L65e tranny from the inside. It was a PITA job.
If you have a bigger tranny (4L70/80) it might not be doable.

Its doable with a TKO - but keep in mind the trans will have to come out the top...after removing console, trans tunnel, etc. Plan accordingly for clutch replacement time.
