    '35 Truck Bed Dimensions needed

I want to order my '35 bed and possible side rails.... so, I need a few dimensions.

First, the inside bed in inches.... Length (front to rear) X Width (side to side)

Second, the width of the top rail nearest the cab and the length of the side rails.

Third, I ordered the side rail pockets.... what's the inside dimensions for the post to go into and how much post can the pocket hold from top of side rail until the post bottoms out.

See attached pic by clicking on it.

    Thx Mark

Thanks Mike.... So, if one buy the option for stake pockets, what the heck does one get? Maybe I should cancel that option it they serve no purpose?

However, I still need the bed measurements.

    Thx Mark

Just measured mine. Sorry, meant to do it before.

    59" long (inside)
    49-1/2" wide (inside)
58-1/2" wide (at top where angles out)
    4-1/2" deep (inside)
7-1/2" deep (at top where angles out)

Note the depth measurements are with the optional aluminum (simulated wood) bed installed. Without, add 1-1/8" to the depth measurements.

I don't know much about the stake pockets other than what's in the build manual and what's visible in the galleries on FF's website. Didn't order them. Don't appear to be functional.

Note this is the current "short cab" model. Build date from Factory Five 18+ months ago. From what I understand, the new extended cab version has the same bed with the frame extended for the additional cab space. But I've not seen anything official on this topic.
