Regardless of where you land on the EV vs. ICE debate, this is just cool...

    LOL! Ain't it though?
    My Type 65 Coupe: Ordered May 27, 2021. Arrived November 19, 2021.
I would like to treat my gas pedal as a binary operator. It would be nice to get the cooperation of everyone in front of me.

Yep that is Rich Rebuilds channel. Did a few Tesla rebuilds from copart until Tesla took away supercharging for any rebuilt unit. He had some other issues with Tesla and decided to thumb his nose at them by building this.

Interesting. I personally preferred when Bob Lutz crammed the LS9 into the Fisker Karma. I would be surprised if more than a handful were ever produced.

I actually always liked (most of) the Karma's lines. I probably would have been a customer for the shooting brake / wagon-version Surf model, had it ever made it to production.

It's also interesting how many Tesla drivetrains are winding up in former ICE cars and DIY / kit / project cars now as well, with a pretty robust open-source community spurring development in those areas.

    Cheers, John

Absolutely! I know this is where the future of hot rodding is going. I likely won't be a builder, but I've been watching the 33 build by @BradC that is going on right now and being very well documented. I find it fascinating.

So when the batteries reach End-Of-Life, the chassis can be repurposed.
