    Gen 3 Coyote wiring question

The Gen 3 Coyote instructions are pretty clear about most of the harness mods and what attaches to what. Only thing I can't see is what do I do with the black wire that comes from Ford attached to the PDB. The instructions read to run power from the battery to the 250A fuse to the PDB lug. The pictures don't show the black wire, and the instructions don't say what to do with it. Tried continuity to various legs of the harness but no luck.

Also - should all convolute tubing be wrapped with tape? And what kind of tape is recommended?

Don't remember the specifics of the instructions. But yes that black wire goes to the PDB main connection. The battery +12V through the fuse also attached there. Pictured in my Coupe build below. You could use regular electrical tape (3M Super 33 tape is decent) but the material used on the Ford harness is non-adhesive and IMO better for that application. I use American Autowire Harness Tape R0067108, Black, 1.25 in. Width, 100 ft. Length, non-adhesive. Available at Summit.
