Russ Thompson turn signal on newer MK4 question

I tried going straight to the source, but couldn't get through to Russ, figured I'd try here as well.

Anyone fit the russ thompson turn signal to the MK4 with the longer upper steering shaft bushing attachment? I didn't know how that would interface with the ~1.5" tube that is part of his kit, or if I'd run into a fitment issue.

I'm assuming SOMEONE has done it, but haven't seen any pictures in builds.

Russ makes a specific bracket for the new design. You'll need to let him know which setup you have.
