    Pulled the trigger on wheels

I've been agonizing over what rims and what sizes. For anyone who has done the same, you know where i'm coming from. I have worn out my keyboard and annoyed the hell out of friends and family. I pulled the trigger this morning on a set of Schott Accelerators in their Black Velvet finish. Way more $$$$ than I wanted to spend but nothing cheaper really clicked my wow button. For whatever reason, these did from the time I first saw them. Now the 15 week wait... tick toc.. tick toc..
I played it safe and went with FFR's recommended sizes and backspace.
    18x9 5.5"bs
    20x11 6"bs
These without the spinner, going with a smooth center cap like on the bronze one.

😯 Really like those wheels but I could never justify that cost.

All four of my wheels and tires cost less than $200 more than one wheel.

    Love the Coverlok concept!

Now if only they (or someone else) would come out with similar cast (and thus less expensive) wheels.

I'm with DGC333 Schott makes beautiful products but they're priced beyond my means.

Good Looking Wheels! I stopped talking to non-car-person friends about things like that a long time ago. Luckily I have family and friends that would happy to talk car parts of any kind forever.

I sure had to chuckle when you described the agonizing process of choosing tire and wheel packages. I think I had about 50 sheets of paper filled with notes, part numbers, dimensions, and dealers. I combed through photos of F5 '33 hot rods to see what size tires were on them, and once I found the perfect wheel, I did the same with the tire choice. I ended up with American Racing VN515 Torque Thrust II wheels and Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires.

Dan, really like these wheels... close to the old school Cragar's I'm thinking about for my build...my problem is too many options.

Sorry Dgc...replied to wrong post but, these are bad a@# wheels.

Thank you, and what a nice color to also chose! Mine is Viper Yellow. I decides for a summer toy, I was going to be topless, but a black soft top likely down the road. I am also running full fenders and running boards. When done, our two cars parked next to each other at a show would sure look neat!

Looks great Dan. Mine is 2019 Corvette Grand Sport Racing yellow, looks almost the same as yours.
You carried the yellow a bit further, the block and spark plug wires too.
    Is that an LS3?

It is just a LM7 out of a 2005 GMC Yukon. I am keeping it stock, at my age, I want to go slowly to the ice cream shop. Quiet and reliable makes me happy.

It should be plenty quick with that engine.
If your using the FFR mufflers it won’t be quiet.

Does the rear exit exhaust help?

No, rear exit is what I have.
I replaced the mufflers with some Borla’s and it’s better but still borderline louder when you get above 50 MPH.
