Does any one know why FFR says you cannot pair Halibrand 15" FFR rims with the Mustang IRS?

You can. In fact they make the proper brakes to do just that. Talk to someone else over there.

So I have a Gen 1 with 2004ish Mustang Cobra rear brakes, which do not fit inside 15" wheels. How are these brakes different?
