    Cool Greetings from Charleston SC

Hi All, New commit to the FFR family with deposit placed last week for MK4 Roadster.
Very long time in the planning (10+ years) but finally pulled the trigger.
I'm super excited to get started and sure lots of questions to come!

Welcome aboard! I also debated it for about 10 years, ended up restoring a 1953 Ford F100 pickup in 2015-2018, then a 1986 Jeep CJ7 in 2020-2022, but I finally said if I was ever going to own a Factory Five car, it is time, so I put my deposit down on a '33 Hot Rod on December 30, 2022. It seemed like it was going to take forever for delivery, which should be in the next couple weeks (my kit completion date is 5/20/2023) and a few weeks for Stewart Transportation to get it here. Up here in Minnesota, there is not much else to do during the winter, so I got my 8.8 axle, 5.3 LS, and 4L60 transmission completed and ready to install. Good luck on your build, my journey is just around the corner. Hello eljessup65, I'm also in Mount Pleasant and am new to the group. I plan on attending the build school in early May and then ordering my kit shortly after. Would love to hear how the build went for you.
