Hot Rod - does Gen2 dash fit gen 1?
I think this is now the 3rd season of driving the '33 and frankly the writing is on the wall - the dash needs to be removable so you can trace wiring issues (latest is crank signal disappearing), replace master cylinders (clutch failed after only 1 season and 1000 miles) without having to pull the body off....
So the question is: does the removable dash on the gen 2 fit the gen 1? anyone tried it yet?

A builder like Mike Everson (Replica Parts) might know. I'm pretty sure he has built both versions.
He beat me to it. I was typing the post and when I saved it I saw he had already chimed in.

Steve, I can only imagine.. I was lucky enough to take so long with my Gen1 stage 1 that stage 2 came as Gen2.. and I keep my dash attached with Cleco's still to this day. I just removed it this weekend in fact. Of course, your car is too fancy to use cleco's all the time, but I can't imagine what it's like to be underneath the dash!
