New here, planning a Type 65 build.

Hello gentlemen and ladies. very familiar with FFR, but new to this Forum. I'm in the infancy planning stages of Type 65 Coupe build. First question is has anyone put a mid 60's FE in a Type 65? I have a fresh 427 Sideoiler looking for a home. Thanks in advance for any feed back good or bad. Jeff

Welcome. Pretty sure that's going to be too tall for the Coupe. Too bad. 302 and related small blocks and Coyote family engines fit fine. 351 and related small blocks fit but really have to watch the intake and induction height, including low profile air cleaners, etc. It's tight. That's if you want to stay inside the hood.

We love our Gen 3 Coupe. Now in its fourth driving season. Build thread and video in my sig line below. Good luck.
