Pick up kit from factory and bring it back to Canada

If I was to go down to the factory and pick up a complete kit with my own truck, what would happen at customs?
What would happen if I picked up a uncompleted build from someone in the US and bought it back to Canada?
    Has anyone looked into this?
    Thanks

You might want to check with Narly 1 in the hot rod build section. He did exactly that and can give you a heads up on the paperwork involved and whether or not you need to get the Canadian build stuff separately.
33 Hot Rod Stage 1, Gen.2 ordered 11/11/2021 started June 12, 2022, LS3 E-Rod crate engine, Tremec TKX, 8.8 WITH 3.55 Ratio and limited slip with 31 spline axles.17X8 and18x10 Race Star wheels wrapped in Conti Extreme contact DWS tires, Mustang Cobra brakes all around. I can speak to the part about picking your kit up at the factory and driving it home to Canada. I'm not the first but one of the more recent ones to do so. Shoot me a PM and we can maybe set up a video chat to go over what all is involved.

Importing a partially finished or completed kit, I can't help you there but everything I've read suggests that it's a risky proposition.

We're already in the process of setting up a Zoom meeting later this AM. If you shoot me your e-mail address via PM, all 3 of us can chat together....IMO it's always good to have multiple perspectives.

Once we have determined which day we are going to do the zoom chat I can send you an invite. We were both caught up doing yard work.
    Thanks

I'm not getting gray, I'm adding chrome....

Thanks for the link. I have learned lots by talking and communicating with Canadian forums members that have successfully got their FFR kits into Canada.
In essence-it is important to get "all you ducks and paperwork inline" before you proceed.
