    Coupe side mirrors

Anyone out there not using the chrome side mirrors provided in kit?
I have heard of some using motorcycle mirrors but not sure off what bike.
    any thoughts?

Brock mirrors on mine too. Several have suggested these are motorcycle mirrors or some type/brand. I suspect that's true and probably a lot cheaper. But these work perfectly and having something from Peter Brock on my Coupe means something.

I bought F1 style carbon fiber. No pics yet since the body isn't on right now. They are pretty small though. Not for everyone.

A little late to the party here, but figured I'd offer an additional option for future readers to consider— a more OG Raydot style spun mirror (sorry cannot post a link to a non-advertising vendor, but a Google search will turn them up).

It's what I have installed on mine and I love it, and have absolutely no concerns about visibility (especially with the convex mirrors).

It seems like there is a lot of concern on this board about side and rear visibility in the Coupe which is a big reason a lot of people move to the motorcycle mirrors, but to be completely honest I can't quite understand where it's coming from. Maybe Gen II's were worse, and it just stuck? With my convex Raydot mirrors, I feel like I have better visibility in my Coupe than any other car I own— granted my daily is an FJ Cruiser which is about as bad as it can get

Can anyone confirm if the BRE mirrors would be positioned correctly if placed over the mounting area for the FFR bullet style mirrors. I would be replacing mine and would really like to be able to hide the current mounting holes. Or if anyone can give me the measurement from the top and front of the door. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you!
After measuring it seems that my bullet mirrors are mounted higher on the door and more forward. It doesn’t seem like I’ll be able to mount over the current position unfortunately.

The BPE mirrors are fully adjustable. I would mock one up using one of the existing holes just to see how they line up and how well you can see behind you. I located mine using the BPE diagram but I don't see why moving them would cause big issues.

I wanted to stay "old school" looking. i know they wont do much for seeing what behind me but i have also installed a dash cam that projects a "live" rear view camera. I use this type in both my daily drivers and really like it. give you great vision on what is going on behind and to the side of you. got my set from Amazon.

Thanks Doug! I actually just ordered a Vantrue N4 Pro yesterday from Amazon on a Black Friday deal. I’m hoping the supplied screen will be large enough to see what I need to see. If not, I will live stream to my phone through their app. I might also stop by a motorcycle store to see if they stock side mirrors since some have said the BRE mirrors are similar. I don’t want to spend the money to have BREs shipped to find out they won’t work for me. At least I can try something similar first then order some.

I bought a pair of these and they look identical to the 'Brock' mirrors on my buddy's Coupe:

    https://www.factoryfiveparts.com/808...ew-mirror-set/

...but they show 'out of stock'...

    I ended up using these:

    These look good:

You can order mirrors which are used on Factory Five Racing 818 kit. They looks similar to Brock mirrors mentioned above. I ordered the 818 mirrors for my Coupe, but i have not yet fitted them to the car. As far as i can remember they are Suzuki GSXR mirrors - i can check and send you some pictures if you want - let me know

Just an FYI for anyone using the above diagram to mount the BRE mirrors. The set my customer bought, had a bolt centerline of 1.65 not 1.5 Mark the first hole as shown but double check the second hole.
