alignment of steering rack on mk4

In assembling the power steering rack on the mk4, I notice that the steering arms are slightly angled forward when connected to the spindles. Is this correct or should they be straight across? If not correct, how should I make the fix?

Yes, that is correct. Semi related; the bolt on steering arms should angle outward and the wide end of the taper should be down to accept the tie rods from the bottom.
