    Finally pulled the trigger!

    So,
Had the pleasure of meeting Dave Smith and a lot of the crew today at FFR home office/factory.
Pulled the trigger on a 33 Hot Rod.
    SBC
    IRS
    Full Fender kit
(Hopefully a soft top in the works)
Was able to fit in it pretty well! Was expecting a tighter cockpit, but it worked out well. I’m 6’3”, 230 lbs. Delivery date is set for 12/16. Now can’t wait to get going!30C838FD-C848-4273-8EFB-471EE423E3CB.jpeg

Welcome to the madness! Look forward to hearing more about your progress. Looks like lead times on the kit aren't bad at all, excellent!

I was told probably a 6 month wait. They have been having issues with the supplier. I guess he’s like 80 plus and slowing down/ retiring. I’m hoping I can get it!

It's a long wait no matter when you get it. The excitement of "can't wait to start building" makes it so. Congratulations and we're here to help.

Thank you for the kind words. Already planning out the shop area. Heck, I’ve got the thing built already in my head!

When the truck comes with your baby the excitement peaks from what I here. I live close enough to have picked it up on a trailer.

Congrats, it's a great time. The best advice I can give it just enjoy it, there are plenty of folks on this site if you run into issues that are more than willing to help out.

I had my '33 delivered on 5/29/23 (Memorial Day) and received a call from the driver when he was about 1/2 hour away. My wife said I looked like a little boy as I was standing on the curb looking down the road for the big truck to arrive. We also had chicken and brats on the grill for my helpers and the driver and his wife after we unloaded-they really appreciated that!
