Pics of Gen 1 coupe front elephant ears?

Anyone have pics of a Gen 1 coupe front splash panels installed? I have one in the shop and this is the first time I am mounting them and I’m trying to figure out how to hold them in.

    Thx,

    Henry

I made wooden braces and covered them with fiberglass before painting them. Then the elephant ears can be screwed to them. More work but better look.

Originally FFR had us just gluing them in with silicone. When I figured out where I wanted mine to go I used West epoxy and glass cloth to glue tabs, made out of aluminum angle, onto the nose that I could bolt the panels to. The pointy ends of the “elephant ears” are bolted to the sides of the upper nose opening, then the lower is really close to the lip on the lower trailing part of the wheel openings.

I just riveted mine into those fiberglass flanges on the cowl. I thought that's what the manual called for, but maybe it didn't and I just assumed it
