Motor Mount Question 351W Block MK4

So both my motor mounts were tight with regard to the guide pin not having any adjustment room in the event I have to message the motor location later for the header and side pipes. At this point, not to difficult to lift the motor and grind out a little room in the slots, would that be advisable at this stage? Here is the passenger side and driver side is the same. Ideally it would be great to get the motor to set down 1/4 inch lower, but do not see a way to do that with these mounts.

never needed to do that on any of my builds. I wouldn't bother.

Just to reassure you, that’s typical. I have 2 in the shop right now that look exactly the same.
