    Help starting Gen 2 roadster

    Hello all,
    Have had great success with this forum so thank you everyone for all the help in the past.
    Here's my current issue. Gen 2 Coyote engine from a 2017 Mustang. Yes, engine ran well when we took it out. Engine then sat for like a year. Driveshaft not in nor is the cooling system. But, wanted to see if it would start.
    We have oil pressure and fuel pressure right at 55 psi.
    Car starts right away after sitting for a day or 2. But, it wont start right after we run it for like 5 seconds. Removed a spark plug and engine completely flooded, gas/oil mix coming out of pipes.
    Any suggestions on why it might be flooding?

    You don’t have the MAF meter oriented backwards do you?

    Just took it out to check. MAF sensor is oriented so open/flat end of sensor is facing the air filter. Believe this is correct?

    That is correct. I wonder if some of your injectors are stuck open from sitting. I had a similar but opposite problem. All my injectors were stuck shut from sitting for years. I was able to free them up. Maybe yours opened once and are now stuck or slow to close.

    Thanks for validating MAF sensor.

    We had the same thought. Not sure how to check that or fix either.
    How did you free them up?

    by sending 12 volts direct to them until they broke loose. I would remove them and see if you can blow through them with no power attached. If you can then they are stuck open. when you put 12 volts to them you should hear and feel them click when they open.
