    Looking for more wheels

I'm looking for another set of wheels for my 818R and thought I'd ask what people have found that work well with the 818. I'm looking for light weight and durable. Looks and color are secondary as these are for a track only race car.

I have a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 that I love but can not seem to get them anymore. There are no US dealers I can find and I have not tried UK dealers yet as I'm sure the shipping would be $$$$.

Anyone have a line of some good quality light weight wheels I should look into.

    Sizes I want:
    Front: 17x8 ET+35mm offset
    Rear: 18x9 ET+35mm offset

Hey I have Enkie RPF1’s wheels on my car. 17x8 front and 18x9.5 rear. Love them. Super light and easy to find new and used. I even bent one and was able to have it fixed.
I have 18x10.5’s on my mustang and am looking for a second set.
They look race car and fit the Brembos on both my cars.

I wanted RPF1's but they don't offer them in the 18x9 or 18x9.5 in a 5x100 bolt pattern. Are you running STI hubs with the 5x114.3 bolt pattern?

I'm running Enkei TS-10 in 5x100. 18x8x45mm 215/35R18, and 18x9.5x45mm 255/35R18 I have aftermarket tubular trailing arms cheated inboard as far as I can get them and I put them on a bender for a little more clearance. My tightest spot is right at the rim. I think I can get 275s on, but it's gonna take me a while to wear these out first. I'm running 10mm spacers front and rear with ARP long studs and still rub just a little at full lock. I've got Caddy Brembos front and rear and they just clear.

Good to know. I'm running Caddy Brembos on all four corners as well and I do have Hoosier 275x35's on the rear and they clear just fine.

I'm running Team Dynamics 17" by 9" with 45mm offset
Front tire Toyo R888 235/40/17 no spacer
Rear Tire 255/40/17 with 10mm spacer
I got then trough a independent distributor in Michigan. https://www.oakos.com/TD-5M2-79045BB7.htm

To make 235 tires not rub in front my track width is 40 mm wider the FFR standard.

taco20, what offsets are you running in your RPF1's?

Just bought some Enkei RPF1's in matte black on Amazon of all places.

    Fronts: 17x8 35mm offset
    Rears: 18x9.5 38mm offset

Always wanted RPF1's. Can't wait to see them!

I'm on the RPF1 bus too. I went 17x8 with 45 offset and 215/40/17 in front and 17x9 35 offset 235/40/17 in rear. Rear clears the factory lower control arm just fine but was within like 1mm of rubbing on an aftermarket tubular one, close enough to worry so I went back to the Subaru bent steel one.

Front just barely rubs only at full lock but not enough to cause an issue. Rears I should have gone 245, will next tire change. Seems to be enough room to go to 9.5 wide in rear but would need to get careful with offset/spacers.

Edit: forgot to mention I got mine used on eBay for really reasonable price. That's another nice thing about this wheel, it's popular enough to have a decent used market for plenty of different sizes.

Rims arrived today. The 17x8 fronts fit great and clear everything, The rear 18x9.5 have issues. They do not clear the rear Cadilac Brembro calipers and are very close the the lower control arms and coil over shocks. With a 5mm spacers they clear everything but I'm not sure that with that spacer the Hoosier 275's will not stick out past the fenders.

I ordered a pair of 5mm spacers that have a hub centric lip the goes from the Subaru 56.1mm hub outside diameter to the Enkei 73.1mm inside bore diameter. This will eliminate the need for hub centric rings in the rear.

    s-l1600.jpg

Of course I could not find the exact spacer I need without waiting for a set to come from China, so I found a set that go from 54.1mm to 73.1mm. These are made for Toyota's but have the same 5x100 wheel bolt pattern. I will chuck these up in my lathe and bore them out to the needed 56.1mm for the Subaru hubs. Easy peasy.
