    BBK Coyote Header update?

Dave had mentioned they were expected to be ready for production in 6-8 weeks at the beginning of the year. Any progress updates on these header/cats for Coyote powered roadsters? Thanks.

They have made and test fit a few different prototypes now. It looks like they finally have a couple of good master prototypes. They are running a little behind as the first prototype had to be changed a bit. They are making great progress, but it will still be a while before they are available. They now have to make the tooling for the headers and design the cats and straight pipes to meet up to the headers in the Hot Rod and the Mk4.

We want to make them right the first time. The extra time to do things this way will pay off in the end.

    Best regards,

They are making great progress. The headers are done. We should have them here some time next week. They are shorty headers that will work on the MK4 kit and the 33 Hot Rod. The next thing on the list are the J-pipes that attach to the header. They will be needed to complete the exhaust on either car. It may still be another few weeks for the J-pipes to be tooled up and ready for production.

The next step is deciding what else will be supplied with the Factory Five 5.0 Coyote install kit. Things like the oil pan, accessory brackets ect. will have to be spec'd out. There is a huge amount of parts needed for the Coyote install. We still need to decide which parts we will offer with the install kit. They are making really good progress, but it is a huge project and it can't happen over night. We appreciate your patience and know it will be worth the wait!

Thanks for the update Brian. Are you planning on offering these pieces as they come available, or will we have to wait for the whole Coyote package? I desperately need the exhaust only.

Yes, I'm in the same boat, I'd love to see a whole kit, but aren't most of the other parts pretty easy to find without too much trouble? Especially with the help of the forums...

Great News - Make that 3 in the same boat.

Only need the exhaust. If possible I would like the headers ASAP so I can make a mod to the DS foot box to make more space for the go pedal.

    Thx

The headers and adapter pipes will be available separate from the complete 5.0 installation kit. The pricing has not yet been announced.

    Monthly Bump.

Are the headers available, even without cats yet? If I can get the headers in, I can finish the footbox, brakes, clutch, and get to the go-kart stage.

The headers are now in stock and ready to ship The J-pipes and catalytic converters are not yet available. The headers and fasteners can be ordered under SKU# 33920. They cost $599. They should be available on the parts catalog shortly. You can call FFR to place an order or wait and order them online.

Jesper said FFR has no plans to offer cats at this time.

FYI, my FFR coyote headers are in the for sale forum. Make an offer.

No plans for cats seems like a poor move since so many states require emissions equipment.
