'04 Hydroboost Install Template?
I am working on the installation of a hydroboost MC from a 2004 Mach 1 into my MK4. I have mounted the FFR bracket onto the hydroboost assembly, but it looks to me that FF did not drill holes in the steel or aluminum drivers footbox front panel. Has anyone made up a template to drill the mounting holes? Given the weight of the assembly, it is a pain trying to get this thing clocked correctly and then mark the holes.
Problem identified as missing hole in front footbox aluminum panel. Removed panel and found that bolt locations were included in the steel front wall of the footbox. The hole locations result in the brake fluid reservoir to be slightly off horizontal, but usable.

Reason: Determined solution.

Hi Alan,
That's correct - you should just be able to transfer those holes through from the cockpit side into the aluminum. Also just wanted to confirm that the master cylinder/hydroboost assembly will indeed be slightly rotated toward the engine in order to allow the reservoir to be filled.
I think you'll really like power brakes on your car!!
